Enterprise Risk Manager (m/f/d)

As Europe's largest white-label payment provider, we bear responsibility for our customers and the smooth processing of a large number of transactions day by day. To ensure this, we implement the legal and regulatory requirements and make our risks transparent within the company. This is the responsibility of Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management. As an Enterprise Risk Manager (m/f/d), you keep a close eye on all risks and help to secure the company's success in the long term. 

• In your role you report directly to our Head of Compliance and you are part of the CFO area 
• You are responsible for the implementation, design and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Risk Management framework
• Your tasks include the risk identification and assessment as part of our risk inventory process, the risk monitoring as well as the preparation of the risk reporting for the management
• The regular revision of the risk handbook as well as the maintenance and further development of risk-relevant documentation and the annual revision of the risk strategy and the risk appetite are part of your responsibility
• You are in regular contact with all colleagues responsible for risks and you are contact for the group and for internal and external auditors
• As Enterprise Risk Manager in a BaFin regulated company you implement the regulatory requirements and you integrate the relevant MaRisk requirements in co-operation into the Enterprise Risk Management framework
• Perspective-oriented collaboration and personal development in other areas of your department, such as Compliance or Business Continuity Management, round off your job profile

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on economics (e.g. business sciences, business informatics), or comparable experience in risk management or risk controlling 
• At least five years of experience in risk management, ideally in a dynamic corporate environment
• Experience in a FinTech and/or financial services environment, contact points with regulatory requirements, e.g. MaRisk, are advantageous
• Interest in the technological business environment and a sense for business risks resulting from the business model
• Basic understanding of balance sheet and you are not afraid of working with numbers
• Strong analytical skills as well as structured and process-oriented mindset
• High degree of independence, creative drive and assertiveness as well as enthusiasm
• You like and find it easy to communicate within the company and with external stakeholders
• You are a team player and you like to work in a team 
• Confident appearance and very good presentation and communication skills written and spoken in English; Native-level German language skills are necessary for this role
• You are skilled in the use of MS Office
• No travelling required
