Head of Accounting (m/f/d)

As Head of Accounting (m/f/d), you will be responsible for all accounting-related topics and issues at Ratepay together with your team of 6. You will act as a sparring partner for our CFO/Managing Director, to whom you will also report.

 
Your tasks

• You are responsible for the management and strategic orientation of the accounting department.
• You build up your team and ensure the continuous development of all team members  
• You are responsible for and control the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB/IFRS including the support of consolidation topics within the Nexi Group. 
• You are part of our core team and contribute your experience and expertise to product launches and financings
• In cooperation with our IT, you will ensure the planned SAP 4/Hana migration and act as business owner in this process
• You are responsible for the compliance with accounting and cash management relevant processes within the scope of our ZAG BAFIN licence.  
• You are the central contact person for our internal audit, auditors and tax advisors
• You continuously develop our accounting processes in terms of efficiency and transparency

• You have at least 10 years of professional experience, including several years of leadership experience, in an international auditing company (Big4), as well as a degree in economics or a completed commercial or tax law training with corresponding additional qualifications.
• We require profound know-how in HGB, IFRS and German tax law in order to ensure monthly financial statements of the highest quality and to comply with the standards of our listed group company Nexi.
• You have the experience and passion to develop our accounting processes and take them to the next level.
• In addition to your strong networking and communication skills, you have strong stakeholder management experience
• You are business fluent in German and English
