Your duties

As a Quality Engineer (f/m/d), you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enforcing high standards of quality across our projects and ensuring compliance with ISO, BAFIN, and ZAIT requirements. You will be responsible for driving quality implementations, acting as a multiplier and coach for our Engineering and IT department, and contributing to the overall success of our systems.

YOUR ROLE
  • Implement and enforce quality standards: Develop and implement quality assurance processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient project execution.
  • Drive quality initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Test framework development: Design and maintain an end-to-end test framework to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our systems.
  • Test automation: Develop and execute automated tests to streamline the testing process, improve efficiency, and minimize manual effort.
  • Test strategy and planning: Contribute to test strategy and planning activities, including test case design, test coverage analysis, and test execution planning.
  • Documentation and reporting: Create comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proficiency in end-to-end test framework development and execution and back-end software development.
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Rest API testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito) and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Cucumber, Wiremock and SonarQube)
  • Familiarity with Kafka, cloud environments (especially AWS) and Jira xRay is a big plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English (good command of German is a nice-to-have).
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
