Welcome to RatePay - Founded in 2009, Rate Pay is Europe's #1 white-label BNPL payment provider and we exist to help consumers pay easily, conveniently and securely online.
 Our products include installment payment with instant online confirmation, open invoice, direct debit and prepayment. 
 What sets us apart is that we give our consumers full control. How do we do that? We don't act as a payment brand between our merchants or customers, but as a technology service.
 50% of German shoppers have already paid with RatePay, we manage about €4.7 billion in transactions and process about 2.5 million transactions per month. Through our 350+ commercial partnerships, we process payments for many of the largest online stores and payment providers, including Eurowings, About You, PayPal, and more.
 Please note that this job can be remotely based anywhere in Germany, not just in Berlin.

The Role:
 As a (Senior) Key Account Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic support and maintenance of the relationship with our national and international key accounts and will be responsible for meeting revenue and earnings metrics. Your further tasks are:
  • You evaluate customer interests and needs from a sales perspective and represent them internally.
  • You maintain the relationship management with the key accounts on different levels and work closely with our integration and product managers.
  • You analyze the potentials of our key accounts and possible new customers on the key account level and thus take advantage of all cross- and upselling opportunities
  • You always keep up to date with trends, innovations and events in the industry, and are prepared to further develop the topic of key accounts in the direction of partner management in the future.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a business degree or a commercial apprenticeship
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in key account management and/or partner management
  • You are proficient in using the MS Office package and ideally have experience in working with Salesforce
  • You have a high affinity for e-commerce and the payment sector and ideally have gained key account management experience in these areas
  • You can inspire and convince people and use your negotiating skills skilfully
  • You are passionate about your subject and want to contribute to a fast-growing company with a lot of commitment
  • You are open, outgoing and enjoy working in a team
  • You work independently and have the will to constantly improve yourself
  • You have a very good command of German and English, both written and spoken (German is required).

It usually consists of a role-specific case study or technical assessment as well as assessing values alignment with some senior members of the team you would be joining.
