Your duties

As a Legal Counsel (m/f/d) with a focus on contract law, you will take on a central role and support our sales and procurement team in negotiations with our customers, cooperation partners and service providers. You keep on track on all relevant provisions of our standard contracts and develop them as required. You report directly to our Head of Legal and work closely with the Sales, Procurement, Compliance and IT departments.
 
Your areas of responsibility are
 

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex contracts in German and English with our customers and various service providers
• Advice on legal issues as well as support in the further development of existing business areas
• Preparation of legal statements as well as preparation of decision-making processes for the management or for specialists/executives
• Development of the company's own standard contracts and establishment of legal standards for our (IT) service providers
• Participation in interdisciplinary national/international projects as well as cooperation and coordination of lawyers and law firms

Your profile

• Successfully completed studies in business law (LL.B./LL.M.), law (e. g. diploma) or other legal studies
• Knowledge of contract law, payment services as well as data protection and IT law
• At least 2 years of practical experience as well as a very good understanding of economic and procedural context
• Very good negotiation and communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex issues and new areas of law
