Senior Product Manager – Buyer Experience
As part of a diverse and cross-functional product management team, you take active ownership of your product area, i.e., one of the key buyer experience platform teams – managing customer-facing products in a B2B2C setup.
As a leading white-label BNPL player, buyer experience is one of the key aspects of our product offering. We are amidst a rapid upgrade of our buyer experience platform – panning from checkout experience to post checkout buyer lifecycle management. You lead a key team of engineers to build state-of-the-art customer experience offering. You enable Ratepay to be more data-informed and make advanced insights-driven decision-making feasible in a unique white-label B2B2C setup. You combine technical proficiency, a strong sense of user experience, and business insight to design and execute on the requirements to build innovative products. We are a cross-functional team of specialists in product, engineering and data working closely together.

What you’ll do:
- You are responsible for the extensive development of buyer experience platform offerings to optimize the customer journey and experience based on customer, stakeholder and market needs.
- Drive ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products and features, with accountability for all stages of the product development lifecycle
- Together with the product and platform teams, and stakeholders, you develop quarterly and annual product plans (product roadmap) and drive the discovery and implementation of products that help us reach our quarterly and yearly goals.
- You will lead a Scrum team comprising front-end, back-end and/ or full stack engineers – be responsible for user story refinement, manage and prioritise the product backlog.
- Collaborate closely with the UI/ UX designers to get a deeper understanding of the customer journey and experience and design customer interfaces
- Translate business requirements and customer research into detailed definitions, documentation, and functional design concepts
- Formulate clear, data-driven business cases, write feature specifications, manage project execution and sequencing – be able to communicate clearly and defend reasoning to stakeholders
- Define and analyze metrics to inform the success of a product and develop action plans accordingly
- Conduct peer market research and benchmark relevant aspects of CX-oriented products.
