Finance is one of our strengths – tech is the other. As innovative developers, our passion is to have a significant influence over shaping the payments of tomorrow. To do this, a range of motivated teams works for us on continuous improvement of our applications, for example in Product Engineering, in IT Infrastructure and in IT Service Operations. Automation, machine learning and cloud integration are just three of the major topics that we address here from various angles.
Product Engineering – Team Players, Inventors, Visionaries
Helping to shape one of the most innovative and fastest growing industries. Looking after complex systems with modern tech stack in a cross-functional development team. Does that sound nice? Then welcome to the Product Engineering team! Our remit is diverse: we ensure automated integration of new customers and processes in the financial environment, we optimise the user experience in our self-service communication portals, and we look after the connection of external credit agencies and machine learning models in the Ratepay decision engine. How do we do it? Always in collaboration. We share our knowledge and learning, trust one another, and see ourselves as a team with a common goal.
IT Infrastructure – Nerd Factor? Gladly!
Without infrastructure, there is no business – and, of course, that is also true for Ratepay. Just like Ratepay itself, the area of IT Infrastructure is also growing. Our team is responsible for ensuring the operational function of the Ratepay platform and the corporate IT systems. But that's not all. Our other projects also include a cloud pilot project, host migration and a machine-learning project. So, as well as being meticulous, you will also need to have a customer focus and holistic thinking – and to enjoy teamwork.
IT Service Operations – Troubleshooters with Depth
Minor inconvenience or major disaster? In our everyday work, we regularly see both. As the IT Service Operations team, we ensure ongoing business operations, monitor our real-time environment, and give colleagues access to data that they need for their work. What drives us? Continuous improvement of our processes and lasting solutions to problems. What does it take to work with us? Broad IT knowledge, the will to familiarise yourself even with details, enjoyment of working independently, and a desire to be part of a fantastic team!
