Welcome to RatePay - Founded in 2009, Rate Pay is Europe's #1 white-label BNPL payment provider and we exist to help consumers pay easily, conveniently and securely online.
 
 Our products include installment payment with instant online confirmation, open invoice, direct debit and prepayment.

 50% of German shoppers have already paid with RatePay, we manage about €4.7 billion in transactions and process about 2.5 million transactions per month. Through our 350+ commercial partnerships, we process payments for many of the largest online stores and payment providers, including Eurowings, About You, PayPal, and more. 

As an Accounts Receivable Accountant (m/f/d), you will be involved in the day-to-day operational business and play your personal part in keeping our customers happy. 
 
Key responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for account maintenance, account clarification and account reconciliation 
  • You independently record and book incoming payments 
  • You create payment runs for disbursements from creditors and debtors 
  • You process the payment files of our major customers 
  • You work out independent solutions for customer inquiries and are in close contact with our internal customer service team 
  • You support the processing as well as the inquiries regarding collection and insolvency proceedings 
  • You independently carry out the tasks arising in accounts receivable accounting 

Your profile

  • You have completed a commercial vocational training or a business management degree 
  • You have an understanding of the operational challenges in online stores 
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience in the area of accounts receivable and with SAP-FI 
  • You have an affinity for numbers, think analytically and are quick on the uptake 
  • You are passionate about your subject and want to contribute to a fast-growing company with a lot of commitment 
  • You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team 
  • You work independently and have the will to constantly improve yourself 
  • Very good German and English language skills complete your profile
