Welcome to RatePay – RatePay was founded in 2009 and is Europe's leading white label provider for BNPL payments. We want to help consumers pay online easily, conveniently, and securely.

Our products include installment payments with instant online confirmation, open invoices, direct debit, and prepayments. 
What sets us apart is that we give our consumers full control. How do we do that? We don't act as a payment brand between our merchants and customers, but as a technology service provider.

50% of German shoppers have already paid with RatePay, we manage transactions worth around €4.7 billion and process around 2.5 million transactions per month. Through our more than 350 commercial partnerships, we process payments for many of the largest online shops and payment providers, including Eurowings, About You, PayPal, and many more. 
 
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist (m/f/d), you will be involved in day-to-day operations and play your part in ensuring customer satisfaction.


 Key responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for account management, account clarification, and account reconciliation. 
  • You independently record and post incoming payments. 
  • You create payment runs for payments to creditors and debtors. 
  • You process the payment files of our major customers. 
  • You will independently develop solutions for customer inquiries and maintain close contact with our internal customer service team. 
  • You will support the processing of inquiries regarding collection and insolvency proceedings. 
  • You will independently perform tasks related to accounts receivable. 

Your Profile

  • You have commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
  • You understand the operational challenges of online retail
  • Ideally, you already have experience in accounts receivable and with SAP FI
  • You have an affinity for numbers, think analytically, and are quick on the uptake 
  • You are enthusiastic about your field of expertise and would like to contribute to a fast-growing company with a high level of commitment 
  • You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team 
  • You work independently and have the desire to continuously develop yourself 
  • Very good German and English skills round off your profile
