Here's What You'll Be Doing

As Business Continuity Manager (f/m/d) you will take a central position at Ratepay as part of our Compliance team. You will be responsible for the further development and organization of our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
 
You are very familiar with the underlying regulatory requirements. Your tasks require cross-departmental cooperation and close collaboration, especially with the IT and Information Security departments.
 
Your tasks:
  • Ensuring compliance with and implementation of the regulatory requirements of business continuity management, in particular in accordance with ZAG, ZAIT and DORA 
  • Independent ongoing development of the BCMS in the areas of Business Continuity Management (BCM) & IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), as well as the interlocking with crisis management
  • Conducting Business Impact- and BCM risk analysis with functional departments and assisting in the development of business continuity plans (BCP)
  • Plan, conduct and coordinate exercises (BC and DR), implement training and awareness activities
  • Contribution to outsourcing risk analyses
  • Development and implementation of crisis management 
  • Participation in the crisis team in crisis situations
  • Drafting and presentation of regular and event-related reports for the management board
  • Contact person for internal and external auditors
  • Ownership of the process management tool

Your profile

  • Relevant professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility or auditing 
  • Profound knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards of business continuity management (e.g. DORA, ISO 2700X, ISO 22301, ITIL, COBIT, etc.), ideally supplemented by current training courses
  • Knowledge in setting up and maintaining a holistic BCMS
  • Creativity and courage to question the status quo and drive change processes forward
  • Solution oriented independent and self-reliant working style complemented by analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication skills, conflict resistant, team player
  • Fluent in written and spoken English skills (must have)
  • German or Italian skills would be a plus

The coffee chat would generally take place with either a senior stakeholder from the business area you are joining such as a C-level leader or Head of department, or in some cases with a Senior HRBP.
