Your Mission

At Ratepay, we’re redefining digital payments in Europe. Founded in 2009, we’ve grown into the leading white-label Buy Now Pay Later provider, processing over 2.5 million transactions monthly. Our solutions empower merchants and marketplaces to offer flexible, secure, and seamless payment experiences that help businesses scale.

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (m/f/d), you will play a key role in building and scaling Ratepay’s talent acquisition function from the ground up. You will own the entire candidate journey—from employer branding to pipeline strategy to hiring execution—ensuring a consistent, compelling, and data-informed experience for candidates and hiring teams alike.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly autonomous, proactive, and passionate about creating structure where there is little. You will be instrumental in shaping how Ratepay presents itself to the external talent market, working closely with our Marketing team to define a unique tone of voice and employer branding.
Your ability to translate business needs into sharp, inclusive, and effective job descriptions will be critical to our growth and market attractiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and own Ratepay’s end-to-end talent acquisition strategy, including funnel design, pipeline management, and process operations and optimization.
  • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, translating business needs into clear, targeted job descriptions and hiring plans.
  • Develop and maintain a coherent and compelling external TA offering, in close collaboration with the Marketing team to align branding, messaging, and tone of voice.
  • Own and drive data-informed recruiting practices by establishing meaningful KPIs and dashboards that provide actionable insights to leadership. Champion data literacy within Talent Acquisition, using metrics to guide decisions, optimize performance, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Drive sourcing strategy, including potential future hiring and onboarding your own recruiting coordinator/sourcing partner to support pipeline generation and candidate engagement.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all candidate touchpoints, from job ads to interviews to offers.
  • Contribute to onboarding and probation follow-ups, ensuring that candidate experience doesn’t end at contract signature but extends into a thoughtful, well-supported integration into the company.
  • Continuously iterate on tools, processes, and systems to support scalable, high-quality hiring across the business.

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven track record leading hiring projects in tech, fintech, or e-commerce companies.
  • First leadership experience, taking ownership of end-to-end recruitment projects while guiding and developing team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and negotiate at all levels.
  • Expertise in sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and employer branding.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to build and interpret recruitment dashboards and KPIs. Fluency in MS Office (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS, ideally Personio.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
