Here's What You'll Be Doing

Ratepay is a dynamic and innovative fintech company dedicated to revolutionizing payment solutions in the online retail sector. We empower e-commerce businesses with flexible and secure payment options, allowing them to optimize their revenue streams. As a (Senior) Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining relationships with potential Enterprise customers and partners and closing the deal with them.

 
 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans in collaboration with leadership, with a strong focus on new business acquisition and long-term client partnerships.
  • Lead complex sales processes, tailoring offers to meet the unique requirements of enterprise merchants, and navigate integrations that can span up to six months.
  • Build and expand a robust network of merchants, collaborating closely with key internal teams (analytics, integration, product) to create compelling, customized offers.
  • Act as the project lead for key merchant accounts, driving initiatives that align with our client-obsessed approach, ensuring both merchant satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Represent our company in the market by participating in industry conferences, workshops, and personal meetings, establishing yourself as a trusted expert in our payment solutions.

Your profile

  • Fluency in both German and English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Completed education or degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales within financial services, e-commerce, or a similarly complex B2B environment.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in complex sales cycles, with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams and long-term integrations.
  • A collaborative, empathetic approach, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, client-focused environment.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile, continuously learn, and adopt new approaches to drive success.

During this conversation we will dive deeper into your experience and share more about the team you would work with and share expectations from both sides.

This step looks slightly different in different business areas but is to assess technical and culture add.

It usually consists of a role-specific case study or technical assessment as well as assessing values alignment with some senior members of the team you would be joining.

This step doesn't occur in every process, it depends on the role.

The coffee chat would generally take place with either a senior stakeholder from the business area you are joining such as a C-level leader or Head of department, or in some cases with a Senior HRBP.
